House System

In September 2011, St. Anselm's moved to a house structure, the intention being to create a greater feeling of community across the school and by amalgamating academic and pastoral structures, ensure greater clarity about who is responsible for each child in the school.

Each house is led by a Assistant Headteacher and is supported by Curriculum Leader for the subjects attached to that house and a House Manager and House Admin who are both non-teaching members of staff. On admission to the school, every student is placed in a vertical tutor group within a house which allows for about 23 students from all year groups to come together on a daily basis creating a greater feeling of community and belonging.

We have five houses, each named after Catholic Saints. Use the links on the right to find out more about each house.
