CAREERS ADVICE & GUIDANCE

Ms Cameron

Independent Careers Adviser

Education Business Partnership Kent

I am an External Impartial Careers Adviser working with Education Business Partnership Kent (EBP Kent). I am a fully qualified Careers Adviser with over 20 years of experience supporting young people across Further Education colleges, Higher Education institutions, and school settings. I hold a Level 7 qualification in Careers Guidance and am a registered member of the Career Development Institute, ensuring my practice meets nationally recognised professional standards.

I provide impartial, one-to-one careers guidance appointments for students, helping them explore their options and make informed decisions about their future pathways. In addition, I deliver assemblies and tailored workshops designed to support students with progression planning and successful transition into sixth form, further education, higher education, apprenticeships, or employment.

Careers Guidance at Key Stage 4 (Years 10 & 11)

During key stage 4 students will receive an individual or group appointment either in the summer term of year 10 or in year 11. Students and parents/carer are notified of the date and time of the appointment via a message on Edulink. The meeting is a chance for you to discuss your thoughts about what you would like to do next whether that’s continuing in education, looking for employment or moving into work-based training like an apprenticeship. Ms Cameron also supports students in year 11 at the Year 11 Taster Day.

Careers Guidance at Kent Stage 5 (Years 12 & 13)

During key stage 5 students are given the chance to book atleast one appointment with Ms Cameron. If you are in key stage 5 and would like an appointment please see Mrs Seery or email r.seery@st-anselms.org.uk. Appointments are scheduled in study periods and students and parents/carers will receive a message via Edulink with details of the time and date of the appointment. Ms Cameron also supports students in key stage 5 at the UCAS Day for Year 12.
