Our School Prayers

Our School Prayer

Father,
Pour out your Spirit upon our School
and grant us a renewed vision of your glory,
so that we may experience your power,
be faithful to your Word
and consecrate ourselves to your service.
We pray that your love may grow among us,
and your kingdom come.
Through Christ our Lord
Amen.

Aquinas House Prayer

Saint Thomas Aquinas,
you used the power of the human mind
to understand the glory of heaven.
Help me grow in my understanding of  God’s plan for the world.

Merici House Prayer

Saint Angela,

you were not afraid of change.
You did not let stereotypes keep you from serving.
Help us overcome our fear of changein order to follow God’s call and allow others to follow theirs.

Gregory House Prayer

Father,
you guide your people with kindness
and govern us with love.
By the prayers of Saint Gregory
give the spirit of wisdom
to those you have called to lead your Church.
May the growth of your people in holiness
be the eternal joy of your shepherds.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

St Gregory the Great, pray for us

Prayer of St Anselm

O my God, teach my heart where and how to seek You,
where and how to find You.
You are my God and You are my all
and I have never seen You.
You have made me and remade me,
You have bestowed on me
all the good things I possess,
Still I do not know You.
I have not yet done that for which I was made.
Teach me to seek You.
I cannot seek You unless You teach me
or find You unless You show Yourself to me.
Let me seek You in my desire,
let me desire You in my seeking.
Let me find You by loving You,
let me love You when I find You.
 Amen
