16 books Before 16 Reading Challenge

Calling all readers year 7 - 11: Sign up for the exciting new St-Anselm's reading challenge!

There are lots of brilliant titles to choose from and prizes to be won!

When you register for the challenge you will be given a special 'reading passport'. You must then begin by choosing from one of the titles below (there are 6 copies of each in the school library) and have it scanned out for you.

Every time you finish a book you will be assigned a teacher who will test you on the book so you can prove you have read it and if so you will get your passport stamped. You need to get your passport stamped 16 times before your 16th birthday to successfully complete the challenge.

There will be special trips to Waterstones Canterbury in March and July and awards given to any students celebrating milestone points reached (2 books before end of term 4, and 4 books before end of term 6) and a special event for those who complete the challenge.

Talk to your school librarian first for guidance on appropriate choices for your year group/reading level.
